| What is Technical Cleaning? Technical Cleaning is careful, intensive cleaning of computers, servers, printers etc., and the surrounding environment – including ceiling & floor voids, false ceilings & floors and cable trunking. Not to be confused with traditional office cleaning.
Technical Cleaning includes desk based PCs, servers and printers. This equipment also requires careful cleaning to ensure immaculate presentation without jeopardising operational efficiency. |

| | EU Directives EU directives covering the cleaning and sanitizing of electrical and electronic equipment will come into effect soon.
Employers will be required to show that they not only keep equipment safe but also ensure that it is regularly cleaned. Equipment such as telephone handsets, keyboards, etc. requires cleaning and sanitizing on a regular basis. It is well established that telephones harbour a lot of dirt and germs. |
|
|---|
| Why Clean Regularly? Clean equipment in a clean environment usually enjoys a better mtbf, lifts staff morale and shows visitors that you are an organisation that cares about your staff and the image you present to the outside world.
In short – Technical Cleaning is an investment. |

In addition some products are not suitable for particular applications. Continuous training is necessary to keep abreast of Health & Safety directives and changes in equipment & techniques. |
